For as far back as I can remember, I've always shared my life with a feline companion, and sometimes as many as five at a time. I've always felt a deep connection to cats. I feel like we speak the same language and understand each other.

After many years working behind a desk with little satisfaction, in 2010 my beloved cat Mouchi passed away and I decided to follow my heart and began devoting my energy to caring for these beautiful animals that have given so much to me. In 2012, I opened The Cat's Meow in the SF East Bay, and since then I've been expanding my love of cat sitting, and have welcomed like-minded people to work alongside me.

My services are built upon pillars of loving, friendly, compassionate, reliable and honest care. I have a playful, creative and sensitive nature that cats respond to very well.

My experience is diverse and wide ~ from kittens only weeks old, to confident adults, to those as mature and wise as 22. I meet each cat sitting occasion with a uniqueness that clearly shines through.

In June of 2015 I moved with my family to Portland, where I opened a second branch of my business - The Cat's Meow Portland! I've thoroughly enjoyed caring for the cats of this beautiful city and working with their awesome companions over these last two years, and I'm looking forward to many more years to come!

Also, I am formally trained in Pet First Aid and CPR through PetTech.

Besides being Chelsea's husband and biggest fan (well, maybe that title belongs to our son), I'm also a huge fan of animals - with a special fondness for felines of all shapes and sizes. I grew up with many cats, and since meeting Chelsea in 1996 we've shared our various homes with quite a few of the little buggers.

I spend most of my time testing audio software at my day job, but I also greatly enjoy caring for kitties, and so I've joined The Cat's Meow as a cat sitter - taking on sits whenever I can. It's a very nice change of pace from my usual technological domain, and I find the work very rewarding ~ therapeutic, even.

As a cat sitter, I tend to hit it off very well with my new kitty friends, and I should also add that I'm very experienced with administering both oral and subcutaneous medications. I will happily provide any kitty friend with the loving care he or she needs.

On a side note, I'm responsible for the design and maintenance of this website, so if you happen to run across any broken links or see anything looking funky in your browser, please don't hesitate to email me.
